"I then told the phone to do an entire reset." Would you be kind enough to describe this in more details?

8th November - receive email that my order has been dispatched.
15th November - receive free Skype credit from ChatAndVision. No sign of headset - 12 days after original order, clearly not arrived in 'next few days'.
18th November - notify ChatAndVision that 'I think my order is lost in transit'.

19th November - receive email that Headset has been delivered on 18th November. *looks out of window - no sign of Postman. Checks all round guinea pig hutch in case Postman left it somewhere*. No sign of headset.
Receive reply from ChatAndVision that it has definitely been delivered and to take it up with "UK Post" if it has not arrived. Email back and ask for contact details for "UK Post". I try looking at German courier site - funnily enough, all in German. Copy and paste into Google Translate to try and track my order - says tracking is not available in UK.
20th November - still no headset. Refund requested. No sign of headset. Receive email requesting I review ChatAndVision... so I do...
Re: RTX DUALPHONE 4088 DOES NOT RING
Can you let us know how you fixed it?
Re: Register handset RTX DUALphone 4088
I have taken delivery of an additional handset and it did take several attempts - but just press the reset for a second and place the handset on the charging base to initiate the base station search - ok did take about 8 attempts but it did work.
I think pressing the reset just makes the base station 'visible'
Do not hold the reset down too long or you de-register the existing handset too like I did - so I had both handsets to register

Re: Configuring Gigaset A580 IP
Hello, I found it impossible to set up Skype Connect in the first place. Once I have registered it says it will send me a link to click on but I just receive an email to join the skype community. When I ask it to resend the registration email it says my email is wrong (it is correct and I cannot change it anyway).
Any idea on how this should work?

Re: Skypephone..how to download latest version of skype please
emmbee wrote:
Hi
I have a skypephone S2 which no longer logs onto skype because the installed version is an old one. It came preloaded. I found an option for games and apps but that only takes to already loaded items ie the old skype. Can anyone tell me how to download or upgrade to the latest version of skype please? I tried asking skype through chat on my ipad but they must be having problems as kept getting cut off and wasted best part of three hours. Grrr lol.
Anyway, I have no problems using skype on ipad but want to start taking the phone out with me again to make skype voicecalls and chat when out without lugging the ipad or having to buy new phone.
Re: Echo problem
have you tried moving your mic away from speakers ?
Re: FreeTalk Connect US vs UK firmware problem
Has there been any update? Is the Firmware upgrade (mentioned by Alexandra) been release or being release soon that will allow us change the localization?
Also wanted to point out that it would appear, in addition to the requirement to dialing 1 before dialing any number here in the US, it keeps resetting my phone's timestamp to GMT which is 4/5 (EDT/EST) hours off here in Virginia which is confusing at times in trying to determine when the time when someone actually called.

Re: Freetalk ConnectMe Firmware Update
I got a reply yesterday 06/07/2016
Jun 7, 04:42 PDT Hello, Thank you for contacting Freetalk Support. Latest Firmware version is 1.0.9.1 which enables US/UK country selection and provides improvements to internal communication to test internet connectivity when your device is being setup. In order to update your firmware please try a soft reset of the product (press the reset button and To initiate factory reset, with the device plugged in, use a pin needle to press and hold the reset button on the device for as long as it takes for the LED light to go off, and keep on holding it until the LED light turns red again, then release. When this is done, give the device some time to load the software. The LED light will start flashing green indicating you can access the configuration interface again. Also, please ensure: - your FREETALK Connect.Me is wired to the same modem/router and remains with internet connection for at least 2 consecutive days - your firewall (computer and/or modem/router) is temporarily disabled while trying to update the device - you have your preferred update time set properly and the device connected and not in use at that time Please let me know if you have any questions or require further support for your device. Kind Regards, Customer Support |

Re: DUALphone 4088 Landline Setup
I have the same issue, cannot find a solution
Re: RTX DUALphone 4088 does not like MS account
I have the same problem but the firmware update does not fix the problem!
It says 'Illegal Character'
Logitech c615 BSOD
It is a brand new Logitech HD c615. I can see the webcam in Device Manager, but the moment I turn on Skype and go into webcam options it flicks on and off repeatedly, then stops displaying an image, and then the computer freezes, Blue Screens (BSOD) with an error message that says "Windows encountered an error" without any other information and then reboots.
The Event Viewer says multiple times that the USB Device driver didn't want to disconnect when removed. I didn't remove it, so why is it disconnecting and reconnecting?
Computer is fine when webcam is removed. Webcam drivers have been updated from the ones on the Logitech website, no change.
