Ever since i downloaded windows 10 my perfectly fine mic (which works on curse voice) sound extremely quiet on skype and i have tried going into mid mid settings and turning it all the way up and turning the auto adjust mic on and off but nothing seems to work please help!

Hi after about 5 mins on a vidoe call the wed cam sticks and then a windows error message come up saying to close skype and then u have to restart and then the calls dont go through so not sure what is happening I restall the latest version of skype but have no one to test it with at the moment so not sure what is wrong. Please help.

Are there ANY voip phones that work with Skype?
Every upgrade of Skype makes all my old Skype phones useless. I have no idea what sip is or all the other technology. Where can I find a dual regular landline/skype phone that will work with the new improved Skype? If not, where do I find sip adapters, PTSN and all the other bizarre and strange suggestions I've read on this topic in the community room? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. SIPless in Toronto

Wired Bose Quiet Comfort Headphones mic not working?
Ear piece has great audio and I am plugged into my computer with the headphone jack. I make a test call and the headphone audio is great but when I try and record my own voice for play back NOTHING..... any ideas?

Freetalk 1200 Username and password
Hi
New user here!
Just been givem a freetal 1200 and attempted to congfigure with my account.
However will not accept mey user name and password which I know for a fact are correct as I have logged into my Skpe account several times sucvcessfully.
I tried a reset with the button on the Freetalk but still wont let me passt the login.
Is there a problem using the Skpe username that was automativcally gebnerated ie "Live:xxxxx_4" in that the unit doesn not recognise the format.

Try cleaning the contacts on your phone if it's related to charging or detection in the base station while resetting or reseating. One possibility is the age or effectiveness of the batteries you have installed. Try to find high-capacity replacement AAA Ni-MH batteries (similar to those shown below) and try with those on a full charge.

Once reset to flush out any old account info, the live account name can work just fine. You need to ensure your TV/Phone account is enabled in your account and that you have the correct password as it could be different that your normal password. You can test this out by trying to sign in with your live name using the Skype name option. If you have a TV/Phone account and sign in successfully with the correct password, then your account is configured correctly and can be attempted on the Freetalk 1200 device.

I believe the rtx 3081 is USB-based so it can be affected by the release. You can uninstalling your current release of Skype, then try downgrading to an older release of Skype to see if that makes any difference.

Beyond that, if the phone isn't working properly and won't reset properly then it's probably defective.

I'd like to know the same as I'm going out to buy a new DC adapter for it.. but I believe it runs on 9V not 12. Or It might be the otherway around, the dock runs on 9.. let me test.
